Message from the ISU President
ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating
TaipeiCity – 12-14 October 2006
It gives me great pleasure to extend a warm welcome in the name of the International Skating Union to everybody attending the ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating in TaipeiCity.
It is the first time that TaipeiCity is hosting the Junior Grand Prix and I wish to congratulate the Chinese Taipei Skating Union for the valuable contribution towards the development of the sport and the support to the ISU. I also thank them for the enthusiastic approach and hard work involved to be in a position to host this important event.
Of course, my compliments also go to the Organizing Committee, the Officials and volunteers who have dedicated their time and effort to prepare the event that I am sure will be a great success.
I wish all the best to the young skaters for their performances on the ice. I hope that everyone will enjoy the beautiful skating and the hospitality of TaipeiCity to take home wonderful memories.
